NUTRITION

We all eat good and not so good food. But do we realize how much we eat and what goes into our food. Being aware of what you need, how much you need and when you need makes the difference. Looking at food just as fuel is incorrect. We should look at food as nutrition.

More real food and less junk, more nutrition and less of emptiness. We don’t need to count calories, we need to count nutrition.

Nutrition doesn’t have to be about perfect eating but about making better choices.

SLEEP

A good night sleep is very important. But fighting our natural rhythm is common. Going to bed at the same time and sleep right amount isn’t that hard. It gives us the rest we need to repair our body and mind.

Don’t let your life get into the way of your sleep. A healthy body and sharper mind helps you perform better the next day.

All it takes to get a good night sleep is to sleep!

MINDFULNESS

We constantly worry about things or situations that are not in our control. Missed deadlines, heavy traffic, social media and so we have a busy and stressed life. We constantly keep our minds engaged. But are we made that way to be?

We are not wired to be constantly switched on. So taking some time off to quite your mind and be in the moment will lead to a healthier less stressful life. Mindfulness meditation plays a huge role in our well-being.

Stop, take a deep breath and feel better already!

ACTIVITY

Our current life is sedentary by design. We move less but do more. All we need to do is to spare a minute here and spare a minute there.

If we get our heart pumping, we don’t need to hit the gym or that special workout program. Just move more and sit less. Find out something that you love to do like gardening, cycling, walking your dog.  If you do what you love, chances are you will keep doing it.

Less we sit now, more active we will be later in life!
